CDACPC13

Crafters Digital Art Center is having a progressive challenge and everyone is invited. This card that I'm going to show is my first card for this challenge. Unfortunately, the first part of the challenge ends tonight, but if you'd like to join in you only pay a dollar and you're in. That's right....just $1!! And for that dollar you receive some wonderful stamps to play with. Now if you play every 2 weeks and enter at least one card or project, they will continue to send you images. How can you beat that.

For my card I chose a vase of sunflowers by Pattie's Creations. I just love the look of them and my friend that I've done the card for is going to love them (she's really into gardening and flowers). So here's my entry for this first challenge.

It's hard to tell from my picture, but the sunflowers are more orange than yellow...I just love how they turned out. I got the little pearls from my local dollar store and colored the image with my Prisma Scholar pencil crayons and oms. The little orange flowers and leaves are from my stash. The greeting is a rub on that I picked up at Michaels a long time back. I rubbed it onto my orange cs and then free hand cut around it. The green dp is from Stampin Up.

If you'd like to join in the fun, just click on the link to CDAC Progressive Freebie Challenge.

Oh, sweetie, this is gorgeous! (That image looks so familiar...LOL!) You did a fabulous job coloring this, especially the flowers. I love the whole design; those pearl borders are wonderful. So glad to see you in blogland again! I assume you found your crafting stuff. =D Big hugs!!!
